1Wet‑Belt Degradation (Timing Belt‑in‑Oil)
Over time the belt's rubber absorbs oil, sheds fibres, and can block the oil pick‑up, causing a sudden drop in pressure—typically between 60 k and 80 k miles.
Our Fix:
- •Replace belt & tensioner with latest OEM specification
- •Chemical flush and clean sump pick‑up
- •Inspect and, if required, renew oil pump and relief valve
